Be able to create true packages
Showing just the parent item and the total for the package but not showing all of the nested items that go with it. The customer doesn't want to see all of the pieces that go into a single gang data and coax wall plate. I could just create a custom item with one price and a better picture of a completed wall plate but then it wouldn't order the parts needed or create the pick list.

Mark catalog items as rental
Mark catalog item as RENTAL I work in live sound and would like to be able to mark catalog items i.e. Microphones, Stage Lights, Mixing Boards etc. as a rental with a different rate than what a straight sale would be.

how ever you wanna label it. on the very opening page along with custom parts fees and labor should be a button for parts you've using in say i don't know the last year. a lot of us have the design and system and parts we like and we very much so and very often use the exact same stuff would be nice to just hit a button and see all the parts we commonly used maybe even put them in chronological order from last time used.

Discontinued items...
We've been with Portal for a while now and some of our proposals and such are showing their age. It's becoming more common that I send an order out and get a response back that says, "This item is discontinued." It would be nice to mark items as discontinued and even have the catalog suggest a replacement. (Ideally the suggestion is from the manufacturer and not an advertisement for a competitor.)

Add "Vendor" to Custom Parts
As our Custom Parts list grows, it's challenging to remember who or where we purchase each part from. Adding a Vendor or Source field that isn't client facing would allow us to include the Vendor or product URL and eliminate the need to research who/where we purchased the part from the last time we used it.

Mark Change Order Completed
When marking a project completed, the system should ask you if you want to mark the change order(s) completed too (or at least automatically mark them as completed).
